Bobcats improve to 9-2 in conference

The Texas State volleyball team huddled in the locker room for a discussion following a four-set loss to Georgia State.

“We decided that we need to be better all around—better teammates, better competitors—and we needed to step it up,” Keeley Davis, sophomore outside hitter, said. “It was a good talk. We really focused in on our warm-ups today, and I think that was the deciding factor in us getting the win against Arkansas State.”

The Bobcats split their conference games over the weekend, losing against Georgia State on the road and defeating Arkansas State at home.

The Bobcats have won seven consecutive home games dating back to Sept. 9. They have improved their home record to 9-3 this year.
