Conner's reduced role, which will be effective immediately, include overseeing team operations, recruiting, reviewing game film and supporting the coaching staff.

Assistant coach Link Scoggins will assume Conner's head coaching duties, along with assistant coach Lauren Frazier. Scoggins has been an assistant coach at Texas State for four seasons.

"We fully expect to have Coach Conner leading our program again when she returns to a full capacity in the near future," said Larry Teis, athletics director.

Under Conner, the Texas State soccer program has won 171 games in 17 seasons.

The Bobcats, currently on a three-game winning streak in which the team has outscored its opponents by eight goals, has two non-conference games against New Mexico State and Lamar before beginning its Sun Belt Conference slate next week.
