Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a female student at gunpoint Monday evening.

Two Hispanic males cornered the victim in a parking lot near the intersection of Clark and Ramsay Sts. at approximately 6 p.m., according to a Texas State emergency alert. The men emptied the student’s pockets and took her belongings. They ordered her to run toward campus following the robbery, threatening to shoot her.

The San Marcos Police Department is investigating a similar aggravated robbery in the same area that occurred around the same time, according to the campus-wide email.

The first suspect has short, black hair, a mustache and was wearing a green and white high school letterman jacket and jeans. He pulled a silver pistol from his pants pocket and pointed it at the female’s head.

The second man is described as wearing a gray hoodie that covered his face, as well as black pants or jeans.

Both suspects are described as being in their teens to twenties and are approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the University Police Department.
